Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information OrderPage (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using OrderPage you agree to this policy.

1. Who this policy covers

• Sellers: people who use the OrderPage app to create an order form.
• Buyers: people who open a seller’s public order link to place an order.

2. Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for a password.

Seller-provided information (stored)

When you build an order form, the following is saved to our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) so your public link works:

• Business name and tagline
• Your WhatsApp number (used to receive orders)
• Your item list (names, prices, descriptions, stock status)
• Order settings (delivery/pickup, fees, minimum order, custom fields)
• A private recovery code that lets you restore your form on a new device

Buyer-provided information (NOT stored by us)

When a buyer fills in an order on the public link (name, address, chosen items, custom-field answers), that information is placed directly into a WhatsApp message that the buyer sends to the seller. We do not store buyer names, addresses, or order contents on our servers. The conversation lives in WhatsApp, between the buyer and the seller.

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not use analytics SDKs.
• We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or files beyond what you explicitly add to a form.

3. How we use information

• To generate and serve your public order form and shareable link/QR code.
• To let buyers view your items and send you a formatted order on WhatsApp.
• To let you recover your form using your recovery code.

We do not sell your information.

4. Payments and subscriptions

OrderPage offers an optional subscription (3-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly plan) processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your card or payment details — these are handled by Google Play under Google’s own privacy policy.

5. Where data is stored

Seller form data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Hosting). Google may process this data on servers located in various regions. See Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Data sharing

Your public order form is, by design, publicly accessible to anyone who has the link. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app (Google Firebase) and as required by law. Orders are delivered through WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your form data remains stored while your form is active. To delete your form and associated data, email nk92.iit@gmail.com from the address you can verify, including your form ID or recovery code, and we will remove it.

8. Children

OrderPage is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We rely on Google Firebase’s security infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. Keep your recovery code private — anyone with it can edit your form.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
